Last week in Personal Growth 140, I participated in the group of the middle children. My group and I. did research on the traits of the middle child. I became more aware of my status as a middle child. According to our research a middle child tends to be a loner. I agree with that trait, because I find myself alone sometimes. But being alone is not a bad thing. I get plenty of time to think about things, and when I do spend time with others that is also great. A positive trait is that middle children are peace makers. In my case it's true I often get people thinking about their conflicts. Although I'm fascinated by this new information, I'm also bothered. I think it's not right that we fall into categories depending on our birth. I have always felt neglect as a middle child. Mother was always caring about the oldest and loving her youngest. That's definitely unfair but that's just life. This new revelant information makes me want to try harder in life.
