Interviews
Last week in Personal Growth 140, there were more guests ready to interview Price Scholars. Interviewing two guests definitely improved my skills and gave me confidence. When the guests introduced themselves, and told their powerful stories I was inspired. Their success gave me hope to search for opportunities. An interesting interview tip that I learned was to always ask the interviewer question afterwards. Doing so shows interest in the position. Unfortunately I lacked a resume that day. Having a resume available is important to secure a job. The questions that I struggle with the most are that one's that require me to talk about myself. I find that difficult. I have to work on what to say about myself that I want an employer to know. This activity was useful and educational. The most valuable tip I learned was to interview a lot. I have a lot to gain and nothing to lose.
